Scholarships

To apply for a scholarship, please fill out a scholarship application and return it to the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts,
102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ. The scholarship deadline is two weeks prior to the start of the class or camp.

Investing in today’s youth is vital for our future. The Arts Council is fortunate to have established two funds for
children’s art education. To make a contribution to either fund use the form below, include the amount(s) on the
Registration Form, or call the Arts Council (we accept MC & VISA). To apply for a scholarship, call or visit our
Education Coordinator during regular office hours. 

Howard B. Waxwood Jr. Scholarship Fund
Established in memory of Princeton’s beloved principal of its first integrated school. Mr. Waxwood lived in
the John-Witherspoon neighborhood and was educated in the Princeton public school system.  

George’s Scholarship Fund for Neighborhood Children
Established in memory of George Dale, who grew up on John Street, this fund is specifically for children
in the John-Witherspoon neighborhood of Princeton.
