The ACP offers a wide range of classes, workshops and camp programs with the goal of making art experiences meaningful, instructive, fun and accessible for people of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels. For beginning to advanced level students, our programs in visual and performing arts, taught by experienced professional artists, are designed to provide the expert instruction our students need in order to try out new media,

learn new techniques, or hone existing skills. We believe that making art and engaging in the creative process enhances life. We know from numerous national studies that education in the arts improves literacy and academic achievement in young people and can make significant differences in life experiences for older adults. APPLYING
To apply for a scholarship, please fill out a scholarship application and return it to the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ ATTN: Laura Borawski.

The Summer 2013 scholarship deadline is Monday, June 3, 2013 at 5pm. Scholarship recipients will be notified with a week of application.

CONTRIBUTING
Investing in today’s youth is vital for our future. The Arts Council is fortunate to have established two funds for children’s art education. To make a contribution to either fund, please select which fund to contribute to using the button below.

• Howard B. Waxwood Jr. Scholarship Fund
Established in memory of Princeton’s beloved principal of its first integrated school. Mr. Waxwood lived in the John-Witherspoon neighborhood and was educated in the Princeton public school system.

• George's Scholarship Fund for Neighborhood Children
Established in memory of George Dale, who grew up on John Street, this fund is specifically for children in the John-Witherspoon neighborhood of Princeton.
