Saturday, October 24, 2009

8:00 pm: Dinner Parties with Artistic Presentation at Select Area Private Homes

Dining by Design, now in its 8th year, is the Arts Council of Princeton’s signature
fall fundraiser. This unique cultural and culinary event attracts over 400 guests and raises approximately $100,000 to benefit ACP Community Education Programs including those programs that benefit at-risk youth.

This year’s theme, Dining by Design: Block Party, celebrates the Arts Council’s mission of Building Community through the Arts, block by block. Inspired by the abstract geometric paintings of Piet Mondrian, the décor will be enhanced with unique works by students in our Community Arts Programs. A highlight of the evening will be “Off the Block,” a specialized silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind epicurean adventures.

The Arts Council of Princeton, housed in the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts,
is a private, non-profit community arts organization providing classes, exhibitions, performances, publications, and free events designed to make visual, literary,
and performing arts education and appreciation accessible to individuals of
all ages and backgrounds.
