Now in its 9th year, Dining by Design is the Arts Council of Princeton’s signature fall fundraiser. This unique cultural and culinary event attracts over 400 guests and raises approximately $100,000 to support the Arts Council’s community education programs including ArtReach and Arts Exchange for at-risk youth.

This year’s theme, Dining by Design: La Soirée Surréaliste, celebrates the surrealist art and cultural movement of the 1920’s. Artwork inspired by artists such as René Magritte, Joan Miró and Man Ray created by students from the Arts Council’s community education programs will be exhibited at the event.

A “Dream Dinner” silent auction offers unique epicurean escapes for winners and their guests. Master chefs create a gourmet meal at the winning bidder’s home or other private venue, while table décor is provided by local design professionals. Paired wines, entertainment and/or other delights further enhance this special dining experience.

The Arts Council of Princeton, housed in the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, is a private, non-profit community arts organization providing classes, exhibitions, performances, publications, and free events designed to make visual, literary, and performing arts education and appreciation accessible to individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
