Cindy Besselaar is a mixed media artist and macro photographer. Her current photographic color study features spheres and elliptical shapes floating in space. These images move beyond the photographic subject and focus on the connection between color and emotion.

I create each studio set-up by hand....using a wide variety of mixed media to explore new relationships in color. From wood to paint, dye and sand — new texture is expressed in its' anonymous form — allowing the viewer to simply experience their individual
connection to each color landscape."
