For Julie, creative expression has always been a motivating element in her life. From the moment she began working in clay she knew she had found the right medium. She sculpts from the model while also pursuing more abstract sculptural expressions, though always recognizably figurative. Julie studied anatomy, figure and portrait sculpture at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Frudakis Academy in Philadelphia. She has exhibited in solo and juried group shows in Princeton, NJ, Trenton, NJ, and elsewhere including The Ellarslie Museum, The Arts Council of Princeton and Mercer County Community College.
