Leslie was inspired by her father, who is also an artist. She spent many childhood hours in her father’s studio while he painted portraits and landscapes. She earned a M.S. in Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College and worked in New York and Philadelphia hospitals for fifteen years as a genetic counselor. Leslie has studied photography, watercolor, and oil painting over the past ten years in the Princeton area and in Vermont. Her work has been exhibited in juried shows at the Arts Council of Princeton, the Stony Brook Millstone Watershed, and garden club shows in the North East. Her art is inspired by the magic and power of nature and light.
