Born and raised in Germany, Tasha O’Neill first saw the beauty of Europe from the back of a VW bug. She came to the United States at twenty-one, became a pilot and appreciated the world from above. In mid-life, she experienced a photographic epiphany among frost flowers on the D&R Canal. Ondine is from her recent exhibit Distillations at Gallery 14 where she has been a member since 2005, creating close-up portraits of flowers, architecture, trees, and fall reflections in water. She is mainly self-taught.
