Phyllis E. Wright is an artist and educator living in Princeton, NJ. She teaches art at Stuart Country Day School and The Arts Council of Princeton. She is also the gallery director at Stuart. Her work has many cultural influences, especially paintings by aboriginal people in Australia and the textiles of Indonesia. Mandalas also play a big role in much of her work. In addition to printmaking Phyllis paints and creates mixed media “constructions.” Her work is in many public and private collections worldwide.
