Biography:

Al Aronson studied art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Artworks, Princeton University and Mercer County Community College, where he received an Associate in Arts degree (with honors) in Fine Arts. His artistic vision and abstract style were inspired by the breakthrough work of the New York School painters of the 1950's. Al's paintings are in the permanent collection of the Mercer County Cultural and Heritage Commission, and in corporate and private collections. He has shown in group and solo shows at the New Jersey State Museum, the Trenton City Museum Ellarslie, Artworks, MCCC, the Nassau Club in Princeton, the Arts Council of Princeton and the Montgomery Center for the Arts. Al Aronson started his engineering career at the RCA Corporation (now Lockheed Martin) after receiving a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree in 1951. He is retired from the RCA Astro Space Division after a long career in the pioneering development of early satellite electro-optical and control systems.
