Biography:

Janet Felton earned her BFA from Arcadia University in 1979, and continued her studies in ceramics in Philadelphia, PA; Hopewell, NJ; and Tokyo. She worked mainly as a graphic designer until turning her attention to ceramics full-time, while living in Japan from 2002 to 2004. A faculty member of the Arts Council of Princeton since the fall of 2005, Janet was featured in the Arts Council of Princeton exhibition Landscapes and Plantscapes, in June of 2006. She has exhibited work in The Secret, at the Women Made Gallery in Chicago in 2008. Recently, Janet exhibited some of her work at the Mariboe Gallery in Hightstown, NJ, and in the Mercer County Artists 2009 Annual Exhibition.
