We live in a world in which consumer goods grow increasingly more mass produced and impersonal. Bucks county sculptor Kate Graves feels strongly about the importance of resisting mediocrity by creating utilitarian objects of resonance and beauty. Each quilt is a completely unique encapsulation of fabrics culled from a wide variety of sources in an ongoing decade long search for colors and patterns that sing.
