Biography:

Materese Roche is a professional artist living and working in Bucks County, PA. In her paintings she strives to combine the technical skills of classical painting with a modern voice and ideas, always searching for a balance of opposing forces to create the sensation of tranquility or vibrational atmosphere and light. Her work as been shown in several well respected juried exhibitions and invitational shows including: Phillips Mill, New Hope, PA; Newman Galleries in Philadelphia, PA; The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts; and the Philadelphia Sketch Club.
