Phyllis E. Wright On display at Bucks County Dry Goods
Phyllis
E. Wright is an artist and arts educator. She received her BFA from
Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, and her MFA from George
Washington University in Washington, DC. For several decades, she was
an active member of the arts community in Baltimore, MD. Phyllis served
as a founding member of Maryland Printmakers, and was a continuing education
instructor at the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore, MD.
She was also an assistant professor of printmaking and design at The
George Washington University in Washington, DC, before returning to
her hometown of Princeton, NJ, in 2003. Phyllis is a faculty member
at the Arts Council of Princeton during their Summer Arts Camp and teaches
art at Stuart Country Day School, where she is also the Gallery Director.
Her work is in private and public collections worldwide. Phyllis is
interested in meeting other artists (particularly printmakers) and discussing
opportunities to create a studio and exhibiting together. Contact:
