Peg and Frank Taplin Gallery,
Paul Robeson Center for the Arts
June 5 - September 6, 2008

On the occasion of the Art Council of Princeton's return to its "new" downtown home, our inaugural exhibition presents works ranging from photography, painting, installation, collaborative public art projects, video and textiles that explore the multifaceted meanings
of home. The eleven New Jersey-affiliated artists-including Manuel Acevedo, Siona Benjamin, Terry Boddie, Judith Brodsky, Zhiyuan Cong, Dahlia Elsayed, Kate Graves, Eva Mantell, Soyoo Parkhyunjoo Caltabiano, Faith Ringgold and Andrew Wilkinson-explore personal, political and cross-cultural concepts of home and raise pressing, contemporary issues such as cultural and political displacement, urban dwellings in transition, migration, and spirituality.

Funding for Return: Home has been provided by the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, the NJ State Council on the Arts, the NJ Council
on the Humanities and Timothy M. Andrews.
